It’s all about the milk – Weideglück at the Einstein marathon
Every year, the Einstein marathon is a real highlight where old and young go out on the streets to cheer for thousands of motivated runners. The sportsmen and –women start from the exhibition centre near the Donauhalle and – depending on the discipline – cover up to 42,195 km.
Swabian Diary is tipped for success
During the last year, the event had many participants: an unbelievable crowd of 4,250 people participated in the half-marathon and made it over the finish line on Münsterplatz. Amongst the female runners, Alina Reh – winner of numerous German championships and European champion in several running disciplines – was able to secure the first place. She competed for the team “Weideglück” of the Milchwerke Schwaben company and covered the distance in less than 1 hour and 18 minutes.
The exceptional runner from Laichingen was not only a real star on the track but also at the booth of the Milchwerke Schwaben at Münsterplatz. As the famous advertising face of the Weideglück yoghurt brand, she was busy writing autographs for both her younger and her older fans. Furthermore, she and the employees of the dairy gave free and well-cooled yoghurts to the visitors and runners.
Ready, set…spoon it
While one yoghurt pot after the other was given out at the practical tent counter of the strikingly designed 3×3 m atento folding pavilion, the visitors stroke up conversations and enjoyed the blazing sun. In view of the variety of different yoghurt flavours, some visitors obviously had a hard time deciding on one sort – gladly, they could simply “spoon” through the whole Weideglück product range! The runners were grateful for a quick calcium boost in between and the visitors enjoyed a fruit yoghurt made of best fresh milk.
This year in September, the Milchwerke Schwaben company will participate in the Einstein marathon once again – with their booth and countless yoghurts! So just come and visit, when it is time to say “Ready, set, spoon it” for the team of Weideglück!
