Polo, HP and…a pavilion

During the last weekend, the hearty of all car fans were warmed at Schweinfurt – about 40 exhibitors showed what they got at the trade fair “Auto-Freizeit-Sport”. Amongst approximately 600 new and pre-owned vehicles, everyone found a favourite. The visitors had the chance to take a closer look at campers and motorcycles as well.

However, the highlight of this event was neither a motorcycle, nor a shiny, brand new car. And although there was a little VW Käfer filled with balloons due to a prize draw – that wasn’t the main attraction either! Nope. The absolute highlight was “Abby” who attracted everyone at the fair.

Abby – that’s the name of the power Polo of STEER Motorsport. The racecar presented itself in a new, black and red design and allowed a look underneath the bonnet. There, you could find quite much horsepower – but that is what you need in order to compete in mountain races or at the German Championship of racing slalom.

After several technical upgrades, Abby is now back on track and more than ready for the upcoming season 2017. The racing team of the manager and driver Uwe “Randy” Rindt have done a fabulous job. And in order to recognize this in an appropriate manner during trade fairs and other events, we presented the team Rindt with a 6×3 m version of our atento sponsoring tents – just in time for the start of the fair.

From now on, the Polo will be safe from wind and weather underneath the robust folding pavilion with red sidewalls while waiting for the next race. We wish the team all the best and hope for a successful and accident-free racing season!
